Looking for an affordable regular health checkup without spending on expensive packages?
Our Basic Health Checkup Package is available for NPR 3,999 and includes basic essential tests, ultrasound imaging, and a doctor consultation to help you monitor important health indicators. It focuses on key health markers, including blood sugar, cholesterol, thyroid function, liver health, and kidney function.
To make the process easier, blood and urine samples can be collected from your home, so you don’t need to visit the clinic for these tests. Once your reports are ready, you only need one clinic visit for your ultrasound (USG A/P) and doctor consultation.
At Clinic One, we make preventive healthcare simple, convenient, and affordable for people across Kathmandu Valley.

Why Choose Clinic One for a Routine Health Checkup
At Clinic One, we make preventive healthcare simple, convenient, and affordable. Here’s why our patients trust us for their routine and basic health checkups:
Preparation for Basic Health Checkup
![]()
- Do not eat or drink anything except water before your tests. Some blood tests and the ultrasound require an empty stomach, so fasting for 8 to 10 hours is recommended.
- Avoid changing your diet or lifestyle in the days leading up to the checkup to get a true picture of your health.
- Avoid performing a checkup the day after a night party, as this can affect test results.
- Drink plenty of water before your appointment, as a full bladder is necessary for accurate abdominal and pelvic ultrasound imaging.
- Wear loose-fitting clothes and avoid jewellery to make sample collection and imaging easier.
Special Considerations for Women
- Inform our medical team if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
- Avoid scheduling a checkup within a week before or after your menstrual period for more accurate results.
Tests Included in the Clinic One’s Basic Health Package
Our Basic Health Package (BHP) includes a selection of essential tests that provide a clear snapshot of your overall health, making it a practical and budget-friendly option.
Kidney Function Tests
- Uric Acid: Helps monitor risk for gout or kidney-related issues. High levels can indicate metabolic concerns or kidney inefficiency.
- Urea: Measures the amount of nitrogen in your blood from the breakdown of proteins. High levels can indicate kidney stress or dehydration.
- Creatinine: Assesses how effectively your kidneys are filtering waste from the blood. Elevated levels may signal kidney dysfunction.
Liver Function Tests
- ALT (SGPT): An enzyme found in the liver; elevated levels can indicate liver inflammation or damage.
- AST (SGOT): Another liver enzyme that helps detect liver health issues, including early liver disease.
Lipid Profile/Heart Health
- Triglyceride: Measures fat levels in your blood. High triglycerides can increase the risk of heart disease.
- Total Cholesterol: Helps evaluate cardiovascular health by measuring overall cholesterol in the blood.
Thyroid Function Test
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone): measures how well your thyroid gland is functioning. Thyroid imbalances can affect metabolism, energy levels, weight management, and heart rate. Hence, monitoring TSH will help detect hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism early.
Diabetes Screening
Fasting Blood Sugar: Measures your blood sugar level after an overnight fast. This test helps detect early signs of diabetes or prediabetes, allowing timely lifestyle adjustments or medical guidance to manage blood sugar and reduce long-term health risks.
General Health Tests
- Complete Blood Count (CBC): Provides an overview of your blood health, including red and white blood cells and hemoglobin levels. Detects anemia, infections, and other conditions.
- Urine Routine Examination (Urine R/E): Screens for urinary tract infections, kidney issues, and other abnormalities.
Imaging
Ultrasound Scan (A/P): An abdomen & pelvis imaging test to evaluate organs like the liver, kidneys, gallbladder, and uterus/prostate. It helps detect common internal health issues like organ enlargement, gallstones, or structural abnormalities, providing valuable insights into your abdominal and pelvic health.
Doctor Consultation
After your tests, a qualified doctor reviews and explains your results. They help you understand your current health status and provide guidance on any follow-up actions, lifestyle adjustments, or further investigations if needed.
(While it doesn’t include every test like X-ray, ECG, PEFR, or our more comprehensive health packages, it covers the essential markers you really need. This makes the Basic Health Package a smart, affordable, and practical choice for anyone on a budget who wants to keep a clear check on their health without compromising quality.)
