Skin Procedures

Lightening Lift Treatment

Lightening lift is performed to reduce pigmentation in the skin and provide a glowing effect. The process usually takes 30 minutes to complete. You must make an appointment with our Dermatologist first for a consultation before the procedure.

Acne Lift Treatment

Acne Lift is performed for the following types of skin:

• Oily Skin
• Consistent acne breakouts
• Skin with visible acne scars
• Large pores

Doctor Consultation must be done beforehand to examine the type of skin and to check whether Acne Lift Treatment is suitable for you or not.

Yellow Peel

(Innovative Retinols and Vitamin C Peel for Collagen boosting, wrinkles removal, dark sunspot correction, and facial glow)

Nomelan Phenol Peel

Combination Peel for Photodamage skin, pigmentation, dull and dry skin, age spots, eg: Melasma (poto), sunspots

Iontophoresis

Iontophoresis is the procedure done for getting rid of sweaty palms. It is also done for sweaty feet and sweaty armpits. Before the procedure, our dermatologist will examine the severity of your problem and recommend the number of sessions required. During the process, mild electric currents are passed through a medical device while the affected area (hands/feet) are submerged in water and a tingling sensation may be felt during the process.

Microneedling

This cosmetic procedure uses small sterile needles to puncture the skin which allows the skin to generate new skin tissues and collagen resulting in smooth, toned and firm skin. It is performed on skin with acne scars, traumatic scars, and skin and hair rejuvenation.

Moles can appear anywhere on the skin and are removed for both cosmetic and medical reasons. They are not a cause of concern unless symptoms like itching, increment in size and change in color occurs.

Warts are viral infection and precaution should be taken to prevent them from spreading throughout the body.

Skin tags are tumors on the skin that are noncancerous. They can appear anywhere on the body and affect both men and women.

You can consult with our dermatologist if you experience any of these symptoms. Then, the necessary procedure is performed as per the recommendation of the doctor.

Gynecological Procedures

Pap Smear Test

Pap smear is done by a Gynecologist and only takes a few minutes. After the procedure, the samples are transferred into a container having a special liquid to study under a microscope to look for characteristics in cells that indicate cancer or a precancerous condition. You will receive your Pap smear report after 3 days.

Preparation/Precaution

• To be done after at least 7 days of menstruation period.
• Avoid during pregnancy.

Furthermore, if the result of the Pap Smear Test is abnormal, depending on the nature of the abnormality, the test may need to be repeated every  6 – 12 months.

MVA(Manual Vacuum Aspiration)

You must be less than 12 weeks pregnant to perform MVA. First, you need to make an appointment with a gynecologist where the doctor will explain everything you need to know about the procedure, possible side effects, what to expect during or after the procedure and answer every queries you have. You will have to sign a consent form before the procedure. After the procedure, you may be asked to follow up with the doctor in a few days and perform an ultrasound to check for any remains.

Manual Breast Examination

No preparations are necessary for the Manual Breast Examination. It is performed by a gynecologist to check any lumps or abnormalities by using the pads of the fingers. If any lump is detected, the texture, size, and shape of the lump are noted down for further diagnosis. Breast Examinations are essential for the early detection of cancerous lumps.

Copper T insertion and Removal

Copper-T, also known as an Intrauterine Device (IUD), is a contraceptive device used to prevent unwanted pregnancy. It is a T-shaped copper wire that produces some chemicals that are toxic to sperm and eggs, preventing pregnancy. Copper-T works for 3–10 years, and removal is required after it expires. A gynecologist performs this procedure.

Plastering and Cast Removal

Plastering is a procedure that is done to limit the mobilization of the affected parts which are fractured or sprained or broken. Clinic One provides both traditional and modern plastering techniques. Plastering and cast removal are done by an orthopedic doctor.

If you have sprain, fracture or broken bones, you can see a doctor, and get x-rays and a plaster.

Cardiac Investigations

Holter Monitoring

During this procedure, a small holter monitor is provided to you to wear for 1 or 2 days during which the device records all of your heartbeats. It is done to keep track of your heart rhythm. You need to book an appointment with our cardiologist for this investigation.

Pulmonary Investigations

PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)

PFT procedure is done to check how well your lungs are functioning. During the process, you will be asked to sit/stand straight and to breathe in a mouthpiece that is connected to a Spirometer. Instruction will be provided during the procedure by our nurses. You will receive your report in 4 days.
