Successful Free Health Camp at St. Xavier’s School Benefits Hundreds of Students and Teachers

Clinic One organized a highly successful Free Health Camp at St. Xavier’s School in Godawari, Lalitpur, on the 22nd of Bhadra, 2080. The primary target audience for this health camp was the students of grades
8–12 as well as the teachers, with a total of 265 participants attending the event.
The health camp commenced promptly at 10:30 a.m. and offered a range of valuable services to both students and teachers. Here are the key services provided during the health campaign:
- Diabetes Screening for Teachers: The teachers and other staff members underwent diabetes screening tests, both in fasting and postprandial states. Those individuals with elevated sugar levels were strongly encouraged to seek consultation with a medical doctor for further evaluation and guidance.
- BMI Measurement for Students and Teachers: Comprehensive information regarding body weight, height, and Body Mass Index (BMI) was provided to both students and teachers. Those individuals with higher BMIs were advised to consider dietary changes and schedule routine checkups to identify any underlying health concerns.
- Blood Pressure Screening for Students and Teachers: Blood pressure measurements were conducted for teachers, students, and other staff members. Those with blood pressure readings exceeding 90/135 mm Hg were recommended to consult a medical professional for further assessment and management.
- Quiz Session for Students with Gifts and Appreciation: To engage the students and make the event more interactive, an exciting quiz and entertaining activities were organized. Students who answered questions correctly were rewarded with N-95 face masks, promoting health and safety. Additionally, all participants were acknowledged and appreciated for their active participation with chocolates.
